Beverly Ann Stout, born on December 1, 1933, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in Grove, Oklahoma. Throughout her life, Beverly was a devoted member of her community, and her contributions to education and public service were noteworthy.
She dedicated herself to the Tulsa and Chouteau school systems, where her involvement made a positive impact on many students and families. Additionally, Beverly served on the Mayes County Election Board, demonstrating her commitment to civic engagement and responsibility. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was a cherished member of the Pryor Church of Christ, where she found community and support.
A passionate reader, Beverly found joy in literature, and her culinary skills were a source of pride, with family gatherings often centered around her cooking. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her grandchildren, relishing the moments of laughter and connection that brought her immense joy.
Beverly is survived by her loving sons, Walter Stout and his wife Pam of Pryor, OK, and Mike Stout of Chouteau, OK. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Cole Stout of OKC, OK, Christopher Stout and his wife Crystal of Pryor, Justin Stout and his wife April of Chouteau, OK, and Ryan Stout and his wife Jackie of Chouteau, OK. Treasured great-grandchildren, Gavin Stout, Aniston Stout, Ava Stout, Kodi Stout, Jakob Stout, and Nathan Stout, also survive her. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her nieces, Ruth Fielden and Pam Fielden of Hulbert, OK.
Beverly is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Stout; her parents, Walter and Ida (Waits) Parker; her brothers, Edward Parker and Fred Parker; and her sister, Lois Penner.
Funeral services for Beverly will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Pryor Church of Christ with Brother DJ Castoe officiating. Interment will follow in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Cole Stout, Christopher Stout, Justin Stout, Ryan Stout, Gavin Stout, and Jakob Stout serving as casket bearers. Nathan Stout will serve as honorary casket bearer. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Shipman's Funeral Home in Pryor.
