Bev (Dray) Tuckerman, age 68, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, in Fremont, Ohio, the city where she was born and spent her life surrounded by family and friends.Born on September 2, 1957, in Fremont, Ohio, Bev was the daughter of Richard and Bea Dray. She grew up with a strong sense of family that remained central throughout her life. Bev dedicated herself to her loved ones with unwavering devotion.Bev began her professional journey at Whirlpool, where she worked for ten years. She later found her true calling as a Librarian with Fremont City Schools, where she held various roles for 30 years. Through her work in the library, she touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on generations of students.Family was the heart of Bev's world. She shared a loving marriage with her husband, Denny Tuckerman. Together they raised three daughters: Shannon, Tonya, and Erin. Bev took immense pride in her family and found great joy in spending time with them-especially her seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.Bev is survived by her husband of nearly 48 years Denny Tuckerman, Fremont; children, Shannon (Jason) Carnahan, Fremont; Tonya (Jamie) Weathers, Northport, AL; Erin (Tyler) Lawrence, Fremont. Brothers, Dave (Karen) Dray and Bob (Janie) Dray, both of Fremont.She was preceded in death by, Richard and Bea Dray; Joe Dray her brother and her sisters, Sally Stines and Patty Bonnell. Bev will be remembered as a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, aunt, and friend. Her warmth and presence enriched the lives of those around her. She especially cherished moments spent with her grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come.May Bev's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. A special thanks goes out to Heartland Home Hospice, especially her special nurse Nikki, for her excellent care and compassion.
