Beverly Ann Wainright, age 86, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, at Fulton Manor Care Center.

Beverly was born on August 9, 1938, in Brookfield, Missouri, to Leroy and Era (Perkins) Lewis. In 1961 she married James Wainright who preceded her in death on September 7, 1972.

She was a 1957 graduate of R.T. Coles high school in Kansas City. She dedicated her life to caring for others. After working at Whitaker Cable in Brookfield, Beverly pursued her certification as a CNA and went on to serve residents at Life Care Center of Brookfield until her retirement.

A woman of many talents, Beverly loved doing hair and was known for styling the ladies in her neighborhood. She had a creative spirit-making Halloween costumes, sewing, and most importantly, cherishing time with her family.

Beverly was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Brookfield from 1964 until she moved to Fulton in 2015.

She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Wainright of Fulton; three stepchildren, Dianna Wainright-Rhodes (Juan) and James Wainright, both of Kansas City; grandchildren, Christian Wainright, Jordan Wainright, and Gabriel Wainright (Heather), all of Fulton; and great-grandchildren, Emma Arney, Maya Scofield, Audrey and Millie Wainright, and Jordan and Jazmyn Wainright. She is also survived by one aunt, Wilma Perkins, as well as numerous cousins and extended family members.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, James Wainright; her parents; one stepson, Charles Wainright; one aunt, Hermenta Pendleton; and two uncles, L.E. Perkins and Alvin Perkins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Reverend Reed. Beverly will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield.

Memorials to Dementia Society of America or Alzheimer's Association may be left at or mailed to Wright Funeral Home, P.O. Box 496, Brookfield, MO 64628.
