Deborah Miller Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wright Funeral Home on Feb. 21, 2026.
Deborah Kaye "Debbie" Miller, 74, of Purdin, Missouri, passed away at her home on February 19, 2026.

She was born on October 27, 1951, the daughter of Paul Curtis Stockwell and Jeraldine Ann (Marlow) Stockwell. On December 17, 1977, she was united in marriage to Charles LeRoy Miller, who preceded her in death on October 11, 2003.

Debbie was a 1970 graduate of Brookfield R-III High School. She spent many years working in retail, including employment at Stanbury Uniform and serving as manager of Dollar General in Brookfield. She later became a familiar and friendly face at Walmart, where she worked for 27 years until her retirement.

She was a member of Bear Branch Church and the Tabitha Circle. Debbie loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed weekly card games with friends, crocheting, antique shopping, and cooking for those she loved.

She is survived by one son, Bryan Miller and wife Serenity of Purdin; two daughters, Kym Miller of Purdin and Mindy Bible of Springfield; six grandchildren, Colton Cash of Kansas City, Dalton Cash of Springfield, Tristen Miller of Purdin, Lainey Miller of Browning, Kelsey Frazier and husband Jeremy of Browning, and Trent Barker and wife Ariel of Purdin; and three great-grandchildren, Jaidyn, Kinsley, and Wesley Frazier. She is also survived by one brother, Wayne Stockwell and wife Charlotte of Laclede, along with several other loving family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles LeRoy Miller.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield, with Pastor Bo Brown officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery in Brookfield.

Memorials to the family (payable to Bryan Miller) may be left at or mailed to Wright Funeral Home, P.O. Box 496, Brookfield, MO 64628.
