Elizabeth Ann Johnson

Elizabeth Ann Johnson, 86, of Brookfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

Elizabeth was born on October 8, 1939, in Brookfield, Missouri, to Clarence Everett Tennison and Eunice Lorain (Morgan) Tennison. She was a 1957 graduate of Brookfield High School.

On November 29, 1958, she was united in marriage to Jerry Thomas Johnson.

Elizabeth worked at United Missouri Bank in Brookfield as the Senior Vice President and Cashier for several years, where she was known for her professionalism and kindness. Outside of work, she enjoyed camping and traveling. She especially loved her trips to Hawaii - having visited six times - and once traveled to Alaska. She had a passion for collecting glassware and antiques, and she treasured time spent with her family above all else.

She was a faithful member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Brookfield.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Jerry Johnson of the home; two sons, Mike Johnson (Colleena) of Grand River, Iowa, and Darryl Johnson (Mark) of Liberty, Missouri; grandchildren, Jacob Johnson (A.J.) of Fargo, North Dakota, Zachary Napoli (Amanda) of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Tanner Johnson (Michelle) of Monmouth, Illinois; and a great-grandson, Tucker Napoli.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Rusty Johnson; and a granddaughter, Jamie Johnson.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Rose Hill Cemetery, with Tom Parks officiating.

In lieu of flowers family strongly suggest memorial contributions to Shriner's Children's Hospital may be left at or mailed to Wright Funeral Home, P.O. Box 496, Brookfield, MO 64628.

Elizabeth will be remembered for her love of family and friends, her adventurous spirit, and the warmth she brought to those around her.
