Beverly Ware, 71, passed away at her home, peacefully, on December 2, 2024, in American Fork, Utah. Beverly was born May 20, 1952 and raised in Oakland, CA to Lewis Shurtleff and Mary Shurtleff.

She studied clothing and textiles at Brigham Young University where she achieved her bachelor's degree. It was there that she met the love of her life, Gregory Ware. The two were married January 9, 1975 in Provo, Utah. While living in San Diego, California, they were blessed to be able to adopt their only son, Jacob. She was a supportive wife, adoring mother and awesome aunt.

Beverly had an amazing talent for all things related to needle and thread. She was gifted in her ability to make suits, curtains, quilts and much more with intricate detail. Her knack for all things artistic included making jewelry by hand.

Beverly worked in human resources at Rocky Mountain Helicopter for a number of years. She also worked at Grabber Industry until she retired.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Beverly served in many capacities and callings. She was always as involved as she could be and enjoyed serving the church.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Gregory, and son, Jake, of American Fork; brother, Tim Shurtleff; sister, Peggie Shurtleff and sister Becky Phillips.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother John Shurtleff.

The service for Beverly Ware will be held on Friday, at 12:00 PM at Sunset Hills 2nd Ward located at 1152 North 400 West in American Fork, Utah 84003. A viewing will be held at the church prior to the service from 10:45-11:45am.
