Beverly Welborne Obituary
She was born January 13, 1971, in Gaston County, to Stephanie Marlene Pennington and the late Johnny Ray Pennington.
Buffy taught for more than 25 years at Lake Wylie Elementary School. She had a great love for her students. She and her husband were active in Reconciliation Ministries in Rock Hill, SC. She grew up in First Assembly in Gastonia.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Eric Welborne; son, Matthew Tessener; daughter, Emily Welborne.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023, 12:00 noon, at First Assembly of God, 777 S. Myrtle School Rd, Gastonia, NC, 28052.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 12:00 prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stephanie Marlene Pennington for funeral expenses.
