Bhamdeo, a beacon of gentle wisdom and thoughtfulness, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, in Miami, Florida. Born on April 7, 1935, in Guyana, his life was a vivid tapestry of love, family, and enduring strength that spanned an incredible 90 years.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Pearly Bhamdeo, a true testament to their unwavering love and commitment to one another. Bhamdeo's legacy includes his adoring children: Jai, Rosanne, Pam, Deo, Eddie, and Chandra. Each of them has blossomed under his nurturing guidance, growing into remarkable individuals who continue to reflect his values and spirit. His twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren are a testament to the love and joy he fostered within his family. He will also be lovingly remembered by his two sons-in-law, Randy and Motie, the late son-in-law Sunder, and his daughter-in-law, Juliet, all of whom he welcomed into the family with open arms and heart. His sister, Liloutie Ramphal, will carry fond memories of their shared moments and life's milestones. Former daughter-in-laws, Mary and Dalin.

Bhamdeo's presence was marked by his gentle demeanor and wise counsel. Those who knew him were often touched by his kindness, and his advice was sought by many in times of need.
