Bhartiben Nanubhai Patel, age 75, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, died Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma. She was born on Friday, April 7, 1950, to Morarjibhai and Valiben Patel in Navsari, Gujarat, India.

Bhartiben was born and raised in Navsari, Gujarat, India, and later made her home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, where she built a beautiful life centered on family, faith, and hard work. Alongside her devoted husband, Nanubhai Patel, she helped raise their family, and together they owned and operated the A-OK Motel in Broken Bow for 47 years, beginning in 1979. Their business stood as a testament to their partnership, perseverance, and dedication to their community.

Bhartiben's greatest joy was her family. She deeply loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them. She was known as an excellent cook, and her cooking brought everyone together, especially her rice, which will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to enjoy it.

A devoted wife, Bhartiben, lovingly cared for her husband with selflessness and grace. She was a nurturing mother and a proud grandmother whose home was always filled with warmth and love. Guided by her Hindu Swaminarayan faith, she lived a life rooted in devotion, service, and family values.

Bhartiben will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering dedication to her family, and the love she shared so freely. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and the many lives she touched.

Bhartiben is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nanubhai Patel; three brothers and sister-in-law, Ranjit Patel, Chandrakant and Pratima Patel, and Dhiraj Patel.

Bhartiben is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chet and Melissa Patel of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; her daughter and son-in-law, Bhavini and Adil Marawala of Vadodara, India; one sister and brother in law, Sumitra and Babubhai Patel of Onjal, India; five grandchildren, Ravid and Kendra Patel of Durant, Oklahoma, Joshua and Kandice Patel of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Ashley and Breydan Jackson of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Josey Patel of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Tanaaya Marawala of Vadodara, India; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other beloved family and friends.

A visitation services will be held Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 5-7 P.M. at Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
