Bhuwan Bhushan

Bhuwan Bhushan, age 87, of Wadsworth, died Friday, December 5, 2025 at Summa Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital, following a period of declining health.

Bhuwan was born on May 2, 1938, in Mirzapur, U.P., India to the late Mahavir Prashad Khare and Lalita (Kunwar) Khare. He married Judy Kay Moore on April 7, 1966, in Bel Air, MD, and she survives him.

He received a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Masters of Business Administrationfrom the University of Akron. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer, primarily for Babcock and Wilcox in Barberton, for 29 years, retiring in 1995.

Bhuwan enjoyed following the US stock market, Cleveland sports on television, talking on the phone and staying in touch with family overseas.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Judy, are a son, Jonathan Jyoti (Ashoo Kumar) Bhushan and grandson, Aiden Bhushan all of Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, England.

He was preceded in death by his parents and was the last of nine siblings.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
