Bick Nguyen passed away peacefully on December 30, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her parents, Can Nguyen and Diem Vu; 3 brothers, Doan, Long, and Bao, and six sisters, Trang, Thuy, Huong, Zung, Cuc, and Chau; ten nieces and nephews; and 3 great nieces and nephews.
Bick has been a resident of Orange County California since she migrated from Vietnam in 1975. She was highly intelligent and graduated from Mission Viejo High School and California State University Fullerton with a degree in Computer Science. Bick worked in the financial services field for multiple companies throughout Orange County.
Bick had a passion for Disneyland and she loved to take her siblings, nieces, and nephews to experience the thrill of Disneyland. She also loved to shop. Most importantly, Bick always put the needs of others first. Despite her large family, Bick always managed to find something while shopping that her siblings wanted. It was her nature to be thinking of others and helping them out. Bick's great nephew commented on how she was always there for him and made sure he had plenty of healthy food.
Bick left a tremendous legacy of how to live life lovingly. She was exceptionally selfless, kind, compassionate, humble, non-judgmental, patient, and gentle.
Bick was a quiet, kind, warrior who will be greatly missed by everyone who came into her life. The world is a better place because of Bick!

Bick, my dear friend, you will truly be missed and cherished by me.

We've shared many memories over the 28 years that I've known Bao.
...our times at Disneyland, Las Vegas, shopping, curling your hair, eating out, and enjoying your mom's great cooking, but my favorite memories of you are going to Doan's house after Bao picked me up from the airport. I'd give you a big hug rocking you back and forth, telling you that I've missed you so much...and I love you! You would chuckle and say, I love you too. You knew I was a mess! We would get in our favorite chairs in the living room where I would join in with whatever you were watching on TV... usually a game show, like, Family Feud with Steve Harvey.

It would be me pitted against the contestants...I acted like I knew all the answers and was shocked when I was wrong...you would grin & laugh at me...but just hearing your laughter egged me on to act out more ....we were nuts, but, we had great, yet simple fun....
~just relaxing!

I love Bick... RIP!
~Wanda
