Bilita Hausinger Obituary
Bilita passed away at the age of 86. Born in Puerto Rico but came to the United States at the age of 15. Cherished by many family members and friends.
She was a strong, determined and hardworking woman who had a passion for golf, travel and life. She was known for being a spitfire with no filter! She worked at Briggs & Straton for 32 years and retired in 1995. She was the rock that held us all together. Her love, guidance, determination, humor and generosity inspired us all.
Beloved wife of 34 years to Greg Hausinger. Loving mother to Kevin Gilbert, Crystal (Tom) Blagrave, and Keith Gilbert. Proud grandmother to Elizabeth (Jeff) Beaster, Ian Blagrave, Alyssa (Alex) Meehan, Jase Gilbert and Elleson Gilbert. Loving sister to Julita (her only living sibling who now lives in New Jersey). She cherished her in-laws, Dee Dee Marx and John, Debbi (Dan) Triplett and Kay Cieslik, as well.
Bilita is preceded in death by her parents - Gumercinda and Amalio Rodriguez. Brothers - Cristino, Ramon, Luis, Benjamin, Jose, Catalino, Uriel, Max and Pablo. Sisters--Lydia, Amalia and Marciana.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Azura Memory Care & St. Croix Hospice for the kind and gentle care given to Bilita during her final days.
A memorial/celebration of Bilita's life will be held on December 21,2024 from 1-4pm, at THE CORNERSTONE, 24 S. Main St; Oconomowoc, WI 53066.
