Bill Dellinger, 82, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on February 6, 2025. He was born in 1942 in Altamont, North Carolina, to Bertha Dellinger. Bill grew up in North Carolina and graduated from Avery High School in 1960. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1964 before continuing his education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he earned his degree in 1969. In 1979, Bill founded RCI Sales and Marketing, a successful sales organization for plumbing products. He was actively involved in the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and the Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors of Indiana. After a distinguished career, he retired in 2004. Bill was a member of the Delta Chi fraternity during college, coached Little League, and served as president of the Master Gardeners of Fishers. He enjoyed playing golf and watching sports, sharing these passions with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Merchant, of Phoenix, Arizona; his son, Shawn Dellinger, and daughter-in-law, Carol; his grandchildren, Griffin Dellinger and Rhiannon Dellinger; and his sister, Janice Brewer.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Stameytown Baptist Church in Newland, North Carolina.
