Bill Dunivant, 69, of Kenton, Tennessee, died on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.
Born Sunday, July 4, 1954, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Jerry "Sonny" Dunivant and the late Jewell Ashley Dunivant. Mr. Dunivant was a retired employee of Ermco in Dyersburg, Tennessee
Funeral services for Mr. Dunivant will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, July 30, 2023, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Bro. Perry Grills officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 31, 2023, at Old Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery located at 9250 Highway # 89 in Palmersville, Tennessee. 38241, with Mr. Dennis Zimmer officiating. Visitation for Mr. Dunivant will be held on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tennessee and on Monday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Old Bethel Baptist Church located in Palmersville, Tennessee.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of nineteen years, Carol Bruce Dunivant of Kenton, Tennessee; two daughters, Amanda Broussard (Stewart) of Sharon, Tennessee and Alaina Smiley (Justin) of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; one son, Jerry Mac Dunivant of Trimble, Tennessee; two brothers, Harold Dunivant (Kim) of Trimble, Tennessee and Richard Dunivant of Newbern, Tennessee; one sister, Jean Wyrick of Newbern, Tennessee and he was "Papa Bill" to his two grandchildren, Dylan Hutson and Landry Broussard.
Honoring Mr. Dunivant as pallbearers will be Stewart Broussard, Justin Smiley, Dylan Hutson, Kyle Huffstatler, Chad Dunivant, Ronnie Kirk, and Marty Sharpe.
