Family and friends are invited to funeral services to be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 11:30am in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street, Venture. Interment will immediately follow in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.

Billy Elwell my mom´s brother, Evelyn Marie Elwell was a caring man. Here having lunch with us at Youlandas restaurant in Ventura. My daughters Cece, Lisa, my brother Jim Elwell Martinez. Uncle Billy and his son Jimmy Elwell. Me his niece Emily Elwell Jaquez

I am so sad to hear that Bill has passed away but I am confident that he is in a far better place now. We had quite a few conversations and he sat next to me, every Sunday. His hearing was bad so there were challenges but we worked it out. I miss him at Faith Christian Church.

I am sad to hear that Bill is gone from us but what a life he lead and he's with Jesus. I have enjoyed seeing him every week at Faith Christian Church. He was always so faithful. My dad would pick him up every Sunday or at least recently as he wasn't driving... or wasn't supposed to be lol. He will be missed. He has been missed the last few weeks. I am so sad not to be able to be there to celebrate his life today as I am out of town taking care of someone for one more day. I am glad that Pastor Lance is able to officiate the service.

I feel honored to have met and gotten to know Bill at Faith Christian Church. He came every Sunday and everybody loved him. He'll be greatly missed!

Bill came to Faith Christian church in Simi Valley over 20 years ago. I remember him being faithful every Sunday and sitting on the front row.
He loved the people and they loved him. He especially enjoyed treating the pastor to lunch at his hamburger stand and providing hamburgers and buns for the many church barbecues.
He personally handed me some cash after my husband died and said, if I needed more just ask. I never did, but it was nice to know that he was thinking of me. All of us at Faith, Christian loved bill very much and we will miss him. Bill is with Jesus now. Hallelujah!!!
