Bill Gene Hendricks, Jr. of Maumelle, born December 10, 1946, passed away January 23, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
He will be remembered for his sharp intellect and ability to make everyone laugh. While he enjoyed duck hunting and watching the New England Patriots, he most of all loved spending time with family and playing with his grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Bill Gene Hendricks, Sr.; mother Betty Cole Hendricks; brother, Randy Hendricks; and sister, Kathy Hendricks Bearden. He is survived by partner, Carol Godwin of Maumelle; son, William Bruce Hendricks of Mission, Texas; and daughter, Kristen Hendricks, son-in-law, Andrzej Sokolowski, and grandchildren, Helena, Natalia, and Alexander Sokolowski of London, United Kingdom.
The memorial service will take place on Friday, Jan. 27, 2023 at 1pm at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 1700 Napa Valley Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72212.
