Vivian Julianna McLeod, age 6, passed away on August 3, 2025. She was born on September 21, 2018, to Estrellita Goss-McLeod and Martin McLeod, and was the cherished older sister of Jasper McLeod. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Dr. Noble Thomas Goss.
From the dawn of her life, Vivian was a curious soul. She explored the world with thoughtful eyes, taking in every detail. She moved quietly, in her own time and space. Vivian found joy in the prolific creation of art. She made her voice heard through the medium of chunky markers on crisp white paper. Her countless sketchbooks overflow with the characters that filled her imagination. As she travelled over the Earth, she left a riotous cascade of colors in her wake.
Vivian delighted in spending time with her family, singing and dancing to Disco Pop music, running through wooded hiking trails and wildflower fields, watching the sunset every night, feeling weightless on the trampoline or a swing, watching shows snuggled up with her brother, and celebrating the magic of Christmas and Halloween. In her last year of life, she had begun to open her heart, sharing her thoughts and feelings with those she loved. These moments of connection brought deep joy to her family, and revealed the luminous, creative spirit within.
The legacy Vivian leaves is the importance of being true to your authentic self despite obstacles; surrounding yourself with the things that bring you happiness, and curating your life with experiences that express and affirm your identity. She inspired those around her to recognize the inherent value, dignity, and freedom of human life. Her family and friends will keep her memory alive by noticing everything she loved during her life. She will be remembered for her gentle curiosity, her artistic spark, and the way she left her unique mark on the world — one drawing, one thought, one tender moment at a time.
A visitation will be held at 5:00 PM followed by a celebration of Vivian's life at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct Little Rock, AR.
