Bill Nolin Obituary
Born on November 6, 1955, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, Bill was the son of the late Billy James Nolin, Sr. and Elizabeth Frances Bovee Nolin. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Timothy "T Joe" Nolin.
Bill spent 34 years in auto manufacturing, working for GM, Saturn, and later returning to GM before retiring in 2011. Outside of work, he was an avid bowler and a member of several local bowling leagues. Even after losing his right leg, Bill refused to give up the sport he loved. His determination never wavered. His strong will, sense of humor, and big heart were evident to everyone who knew him.
He enjoyed cheering on Michigan football, going on cruises with his wife, and celebrating holidays surrounded by family.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cindie Lynn Nolin, his three children, William Nolin of Michigan, Karl Adam Opdenhoff of Rover, and Amber Lynn Nolin of Unionville; his sister Kimberlee Hughes of Hilton Head, South Carolina; nieces, Nicole Nolin, and Lauren (Perry) Salvagne.
Per his request, he chose cremation and a private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
