Billie Sue Frederick (Connally), age 86, of Jasper, AL passed away Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025.
Sue was born August 5th, 1939, in Birmingham, AL to Edward and Carrie Connally. She grew up alongside her brother, Ronald Dean Connally, in Crumly Chapel.
She married Max Frederick on September 28th, 1961. They spent a loving 64 years together and were blessed greatly by the Lord. They have four children: Michael, Michele, Melonie, and Melissa.
Sue was a talented writer who loved traveling and enjoyed hosting and cooking for her family. She welcomed many into her home with open arms offering a pan of her homemade biscuits. An active member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church and previously Westwood Baptist Church, she proclaimed her love for the Lord loudly and to everyone she met.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Carrie, and her brother, Ronald (or Ronnie).
She is survived by her husband, Max of64 years; children; Michael (Kelley) Frederick, Michele (Jon) Baumann, Melonie (Jeff) Aldridge, and Melissa (Malcolm) Young, nine grandchildren; Cayman (Stephanie) Frederick, Kai Frederick, Savanna (Aaron) Gooding, Dakota Baumann, Tanner (Mary) Baumann, Morgan (Slate) Wallace, Riley Aldridge, Zac (Jordan) Young and Reagan Young and 5 great-grandchildren; Cooper Frederick, Maxton Gooding, Grayson Gooding, Blakely Baumann and Myla Young.
Sue's favorite Bible verse was Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
