Billie Geer Obituary
In remembrance of Billie Russell Geer. Beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather. (June 9, 1944 - January 20, 2024)
Russell was known as a loving father of 4 kids and a loving husband to Shirley Geer of 53 years.
He was a kind, loving man with a gentle spirit, and a hardworking man who would do anything for anyone who needed it. He loved to tell you about his life growing up and he always told the best stories. He will always be loved and deeply missed, but we know he has gone to join his beloved wife. He was surrounded by his daughter and son in law and other family through his last days who loved him truly.
He left behind Charlotte (Wayne) Rose, James (Amanda) Geer, and Jimmy (Tamara) Geer (kids), 9 grandkids, and 9 great grandkids.
He is preceded in death by Mamie Geer (mom), Wesley Rose (great grandson), Shirley Geer (wife), Bill Geer (son).
ARRANGEMENTS:
Funeral service will be Thursday January 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Clifty Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Jason Lewis.
Visitation will be Thursday January 25, 2024, 12:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. Thurman Funeral Home.
