Billie Joyce Moody passed away on Friday afternoon, August 15, 2025, at Piedmont Macon surrounded by her loving family. A visitation for family and friends with be, Sunday afternoon, August 17, 2025, at Gray Memorial Chapel from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The memorial service will be Monday, August 18, 2025, at 10:30 AM with interment at Gray Memorial Gardens, at Cedar Ridge. Rev. John Haney will officiate.

Billie was born on May 16, 1942, in Coeburn, Virginia to the late Ralph and Mario Farmer McCoy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Charles McCoy, sister Aliene Smith, and great grandson, Andrew Moody.

Billie was a retired registered nurse having worked in many nursing capacities in middle Georgia. She was also a caregiver to many prominent families in Macon as well. Billie's legacy of devotion and love for her family brings comfort to her boys and grandchildren. Her caring kind nature touched all those who were close to her.

She is survived by her sons, Clifford and his children Robert Moody, Jared Moody, Becky (Andrew) Burroughs, and Brian (Brianna) LeCompte, Reo (Laura) and their children, Shelby (Logan) Jones, Daniel Moody, Mel Taylor, Melissa (Caleb) Smith, Jennifer (Lindsey) Heath, Shane (Michelle) and their children Makayla Threatte (Gabby), Brittani (Steve) Marks, Dylan Joiner, Lindsey Joiner and twelve great grandchildren.
