Billie Kathryn Moore, 89, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at her home. Born on January 15, 1936, in Hamilton, she was a daughter of Frank and Jimmie Sanders Rogers. She grew up in Aberdeen and graduated from Aberdeen High School where she excelled in the band playing the clarinet. She later attended Itawamba Junior College. She worked at City Finance and Bank of America in Aberdeen. She was a member of Eastern Star, and she won the Amblin Award for best dressed woman in Aberdeen. She transferred with Bank of America to Tampa, FL where she lived for 2 years before returning to Hamilton. She attended Center Hill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. Prior to her retirement, she worked at Toshiba in Columbus. She enjoyed going to the movies where she had to have her favorite snack, popcorn, and a Coke. She liked yard sales and thrift stores. Her children and grandchildren will fondly remember the Bible stories she shared.
Private family services will be held later.
She is survived by her son, Alan Moore (Debra Holloway), Hamilton; her daughter, Sharon Williams (John M.), Hamilton; her grandson, Josh Moore, Dawn Harrison, Amber Pugh (Ian), Matt Williams (Veronika); her great grandchildren, Tripp, Lane, Georgia, Maggie, Alina, Will, Blake, Levi, Casen, Alex, Robbie; and her pets, Honey and Brucie.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and a brother, Eric Williams.
