Billie Jean Parker surrounded by her loved ones entered eternal rest and is now with her Savior, Jesus Christ.

She attended Thomasville Schools and worked as a trainer at Coats and Clarks. Billie was a faithful member of First Newark Baptist Church. Billie Jean was known for her love of sewing and cooking, especially her famous fried chicken and other Southern favorites, which she joyfully shared with family and friends. She cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Most of all, she loved talking about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her children: Todd Gibbs (Frankie) of Pavo, GA; Greg Parker (Becky) of Enterprise, AL; Donna Singletary of Havana, FL; and Kim Harrell (Ronald) of Boston, GA. She also leaves behind 18 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law Kim Gibbs of Whigham.

She is also survived by her special cousins, Lavon and Dot Cone of Pavo, GA.

Billie Jean was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Parker; her parents, Obie and Vashti Cone; her sisters, Carlene Cone, Ethyel Cone, Dorothy Henderson, and Bobbie Brock; her brothers, L.D. Cone, Shelby Cone, and John Cone; her children, Jeffrey K. Gibbs, Gary Parker, and Lesia Surrett; and her grandson, Kyle Parker.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7th, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Allen and Allen Funeral Home's Celebration of Life Chapel. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 8th at 2:00 PM at First Newark Baptist Church with Jimmy Clanton and Rev. Steve Brooks officiating.
