Billy Wayne Griffin

Billy Wayne Griffin, age 63, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on March 15, 2026. Born on March 8, 1963, in Moultrie, he was raised in Coolidge and remained a beloved member of the community throughout his life. He was the son of the late A.J. Griffin and Beatrice Meades Griffin.

Billy dedicated over 40 years of his career as a boilermaker at Hurst Boiler, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to quality. A proud member of Autryville Baptist Church, he found joy and solace in his faith, which guided him throughout his life.

Above all, Billy cherished his family and devoted time to his loved ones. He embraced the outdoors, often found working in his yard or enjoying the beauty of nature. His warm spirit and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his loving wife, Yvonne Griffin; children, Heather Renee' Griffin of Tallahassee and Joshua Wayne Griffin of Coolidge; grandchildren, Jackson Wayne Griffin, Layla Noelle Griffin, and Alexis Rose Griffin; sister, Bernice Kimsey followed by many friends.

A service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 1 pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home with pastor Danny Blake officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
