BILLIE MARIE (CONLEY) SHAW, age 97, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025 at her home.

She was born on April 23, 1928 in Kentucky to the late Benjamin, Sr., and Amanda (Pendleton) Conley. She graduated from Monroe High School in Mount Sterling and later attended the White Cross School of Nursing. Billie worked as a Registered Nurse and held several positions during her career including surgical nursing at Fayette County Memorial Hospital, Home Health, and Director of Nursing at Carlton Manor.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and great-grandchildren and was an avid Ohio State and Duke fan.

In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by her siblings, Benjamin Conley, Jr., Willis Conley, and Pauline Conley Bower.

Survivors include her daughter, Beth Shaw Morris; grandchildren, Andrew M. Shaw and his fiancé, September Barnhart, and Amanda C. (Nate) Scarbury; and great-grandchildren, Carter Shaw, Emmett, Colt, Ellie, and Dakota Scarbury. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Summers Funeral Home from 11-1:00 p.m.
