Billie Jean Smith

Billie Jean Smith of Durant, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at the age of 67. She was born on Sunday, July 13, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Florence Eloise (Hamill) and William (Bill) Eddie Smith.
Billie was a longtime resident of Durant, Oklahoma. She was the proud owner and operator of Billie Smith Pest Control, a business she built and ran with dedication and hard work for over 30 years. She found her greatest joy in time spent with her beloved grandchildren, family, and friends. Whether cheering from the stands at her grandchildren's sporting events, sharing laughs and stories with those she loved, or enjoying trips to the casino, she embraced life with warmth, enthusiasm, and a joyful spirit. Billie loved life and loved everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents Florence Eloise (Hamill) and William (Bill) Eddie Smith.
Survivors include her daughters Sarilyn Garone and husband Christopher of Milburn, Oklahoma, Stephanie Clair and husband Dustin of Midlothian, Texas; son William (Willie) Smith of Durant, Oklahoma; sisters Cynthia Miller and husband Scott of Caddo, Oklahoma, Sherrie Ownby of Silo, Oklahoma, Donna Sue Ellers and husband Tommy of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren Kiercy, Korbyn, Jaxton, Lexi, Kale, and Milly; niece Gina Rhea Clark; as well as other extended family and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the Elks Lodge, US-70 & 300 Gates Ave, Durant, Oklahoma.
