Mr. Billy Berry, 80, of Bonifay, Florida, went home to be with the Lord April 7, 2025, at Flowers Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born February 9, 1945, in Hartford, Alabama to the late Herman and Louise Hulon Berry.
Billy was an avid Alabama fan, "Roll Tide.". He enjoyed working on his farm and fishing. He loved his family and always enjoyed the time he spent with them as well as his many friends.
In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his grandson, Colton Birge, and brothers-in-law Ronnie Miles and Greg Tate.
He is survived by his children, Sheila Hatfield (Ricky), Buddy Berry (Kim), three grandchildren Jenny Berry Oseguera, Cheyenne Berry, and Dillon Berry, two great Grandchildren Lainey Berry and Sofia Oseguera, six sisters Martha Benton (Don), Ann Miles, Linda Leyva (Tony), Betty Sawyer (Johnny), Debbie Smith (David), and Tami Tate, one brother, Mark Berry, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friend Patricia Arrington.
Celebration of His Life will be 3:00 P.M., Friday, April 11, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with Bro. John Broome and Bro. Tommy Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends 2 p.m. until time of service.
