Billy F. Bishop, age 77 of Loudon, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 4, 2025. He was a member of Valley View Freewill Baptist Church. He retired from Maremont and he also worked at Riverview Golf Course.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Margaret Bishop, and sister, Freida Stafford.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karen McCollister Bishop, daughter, Robin Bishop Webb and husband Ryan, sons, Billy L. Bishop, Dr. Jason Sweeton and wife Sheryl, grandsons, Justin Burnette, Billy Chad Lynn Purdy and wife Courtney, Carter Costner and wife Nikki, and precious great-granddaughter whom he loved with all his heart Aria Kate Purdy, and his trusty companion Coal.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 5-7pm at Loudon Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow with Dr. Jason Sweeton and Pastor Jon Henson officiating. Graveside service will be Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 11am at Valley View Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Fortman officiating.
