Billy Wayne "Bill" Brock was born November 22, 1945 and died Sunday September 7, 2025. He was a lifetime resident of Texarkana, AR. Bill graduated from Arkansas High in 1963 and attended Arkansas Tech before joining the US Navy where he served as a Sonar Technician and saw much of the world.
Bill was Survived by his wife of 54 years Kay Thomas Brock, together they had one son Jon (Katie), their grandchildren Chevy Brock (Bailey), Harley Brock, and Gage Brock. Bill is survived by two sisters Lou Ann Brown and Debbie James, one nephew Jeff Brown, two nieces, Tina Brown Shearman and Hayley James Smith as well as three great nieces and 2 great great nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Audi and Mittie Lou Brock, his in laws Knoxie and Burton Thomas, sister in law Judy Thomas Martin, and brothers in law Charles Brown, Ed James, and Ross Martin.
Although Bill had many talents his one passion in his life was his love of guns, which led to his building of muzzle loading shotguns and rifles. This love also led to his being a founding member of the Arkansas High School Trap Team in 2009.
Anyone who knew Bill remembers his infectious personality, his flirtatious nature, and his ability to make everyone laugh.
Family was the utmost in Bill's life, doting on Jon in his youth and spoiling his grandchildren. He was a loving husband and a devoted brother to his two sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Wed September 10, 2025 officiated by T.J. Tubbs and Phillip Neal. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Texarkana AR.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services.
