Billy worked and retired from WakeMed hospital after 25 years of service as a maintenance technician. Billy was a very quiet, kind, humble, and prideful man. He kept to himself and spent his free time doing carpentry and working as a mechanic. He loved to work with his hands and stay busy. If you needed a helping hand, Billy was always there to help in any way he could. His favorite saying was "I'm fine" or "It's fine". When asked if he was ready to go, he would always say "I'm riding with you" or "Pat and Charlie will get me there". He loved spaghetti with meat sauce and Wendy's chili. He was a family man and loved going to church at the Tarboro Church of God. Billy was also a huge Elvis Presley fan and loved his sideburns.
