Billy Wayne Bryant, age 82, passed away peacefully at home. He was a Christian who loved the Lord and was always thankful for God’s blessings. He was a devoted sports fan who never missed a chance to cheer on the Atlanta Braves, the Georgia Bulldogs, NASCAR, and nearly any other sport that was playing. His enthusiasm for competition was matched only by his joy in sharing those moments with family and friends.
Mr. Bryant was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Nelda of 21 years, whose love and companionship meant the world to him. He was a proud father to his three children: Stacie (Chris) Robertson, Bart Bryant, and Shelby Price. He also has five grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well. He is also survived by his sister June Logan.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ruth Bryant, and his son, William (Blake) Bryant, and brothers Bobby Bryant, Rudy Bryant and his sister Jan McCormick.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his fondness of sports, and the love he showed to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
