Billy Joe Bunch, Jr (69) peacefully passed away on May 1, 2025. Known by his family as Joe, friends called him Billy or Bill, and his grandkids referred to him as Pawpaw Bill. No matter the name you knew him by, you were always greeted with the same genuine smile. Billy was born on July 4, 1955 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Nina and Billy Bunch, Sr. Billy was a resident of Tomball, TX. He grew up in Pearland, TX where he graduated Pearland High School in 1973. In his early career years, he worked at Theriot's Exxon Station, then moved onto the Machine Shop Industry. Later, he found his true talent, building custom homes. Earning his master builder's certification, Billy along side son Jordan owned and operated Jordan Jackson Homes.
With his Arkansas roots, Billy was an avid Razorbacks fan. Wooo Pig! In his free time Billy and wife Donna loved watching their grandkids flourish in their activities. You could always find them cheering on the sidelines of a baseball field, volleyball court, softball field, livestock show arena, or at a dance recital.
Billy is preceded in death by his father Billy Joe Bunch, Sr.
Billy leaves behind his wife of 32 years Donna Johnston, sons; Jason Bunch (April), Jacob Bunch (Jennifer Simpson), Jordan Bunch (Morgan) and Nathan Johnston (Bobbi); mother Nina Bunch; sisters, Pat Christie (Larry), Anita Fink (Bruce).
Beloved grandchildren: Jaden Bunch, Madison Bunch, Dakota Johnston, Ty Taylor, Ryleigh Johnston, Harper Johnston, and Jett Bunch. As well as many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.
Pallbearers:
Jaden Bunch Allen Robinson
Ty Taylor David Goble
