Billy Harold "Bill" Burlison

Billy Harold Burlison, age 76, of Cumberland City, TN, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 19, 2023 after a short illness.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Richlawn Cemetery.
The Burlison family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
As a Tennessee native, Bill was born on February 27, 1947 in McKenzie, TN. Son to the late Woodrow Wilson and Ida Louella Ross Burlison.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Powers Burlison; siblings, Agnes Laverne Burlison, Eva Lou (Tutti) Burlison Haney, Paul Edward Burlison, Richard Carlton Burlison, Elvin Burlison, and Melvin Burlison.
Bill leaves behind his loving son, Ronald Warren (Becky Jean) Burlison; siblings, Peggy Sue Burlison Cornwell, Clyde Edmon Burlison, Jackie Burlison; as well as 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces, great nieces and great nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
