Bill Eaton 1935-2022
Bill was a longtime resident of North Little Rock who originally grew up in Blytheville, Arkansas. Bill was a strong and self-taught man with a big heart who never met a stranger that he didn't like or give a chance to. He worked hard to make a life for himself and to take care of his loved ones. Bill was a fighter who overcame some serious obstacles and health issues throughout the years but would always say that he lived a good long life. He loved watching his westerns and going fishing.
Bill entered heaven unexpectedly on October 2, 2022, at the age of 87. He is now rejoicing and reunited with a son. Johnny; a wife, Dorothy; his mother, Tellie and father Lloyd; brothers, Harvey and Russell; and a son-in-law, Les. Bill leaves behind a son, Bill (Kay); daughter, Tina; his first love, Ann; many grandchildren, and great grandchildren; brothers, Joe and Jimmy; many nieces and nephews and our family friend Kathy.
Bill is loved and will be missed by many. Bill's life will be celebrated on Monday October 10th at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St, North Little Rock. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. and interment at Arkansas Memorial Gardens.

Man, I hate that I missed your funeral, Mr. Bill. I had a bad feeling about that the last day I had seen you after I left your house. As I drove off, something had told me to turn around and go back to your house and thank you again for giving me a real chance at working for myself and making an honest living again. I also wanted to thank you for being a great friend to me and I wanted to tell you that I loved you for that but I didn't take my last chance. I'm sorry, Mr. Bill. Hopefully I'll see you again, up there where God puts His "good people"...
