Billy Joseph Ellis, 61, of Berne, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on December 31, 1963, in Celina, Ohio, to the late Donald F. and Lillie (Wessels) Ellis.
He worked at Peyton Northern in Bluffton, Indiana, for 20 years.
Billy enjoyed watching football and baseball. In his free time, he enjoyed taking his dog, Rocky, for walks.
Survivors include his brother, Donald Ellis Jr. of Celina, Ohio; brother, Gary (Beverly) Ellis of Celina, Ohio; sister, Terrie (Dave) Sovine of Decatur, Indiana; sister. Janice (Larry) Thornton of Rockford, Ohio; many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Private family graveside services will be held at North Grove Cemetery in Celina, Ohio, with Pastor Lee Ellis and Pastor Brad Buckley officiating.
