Corey D. LeMaster, 38, of Berne, Indiana passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at his residence, following a battle with cancer.
He was born on May 8, 1987, in Bluffton, Indiana, to Diane (Younger) LeMaster.
Corey graduated from South Adams High School in 2006. He was a star athlete at South Adams participating in football, basketball, track, golf, and baseball. Corey also coached Boys Basketball and Girls Softball at South Adams. Additionally, he enjoyed announcing high school sports for South Adams Football and Basketball. After graduation, Corey worked at the Berne Hi-Way Hatchery for over ten years.
Corey was an avid Dallas Cowboys, IU Basketball, and Cincinnati Reds fan. He also enjoyed bowling. Corey had a passion for horses and worked with race horses. Corey was loved by everyone and he didn’t know a stranger.
Survivors include his mother, Diane LeMaster of Berne, Indiana; father, Randy LeMaster of Portland, Indiana; grandmother, aunts, uncle and cousins; special friends, Dan and Laura Hockin; and the Minnesota Family.
Corey was preceded in death by a grandfather and uncle.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel in Berne, Indiana with Chaplain Chuck Koenemann officiating.
Family and friends will be received from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Friday, August, 22, 2025, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel in Berne, Indiana.
Preferred memorials can be given to South Adams Athletics.
