Billy Joe Ford

Billy Joe Ford, age 87, of Cass City, passed away on July 28, 2023. He was born in Manchester, Tennessee on April 26, 1936. Billy loyally served his country in the United States Army. He retired after 30+ years as a Material Handler at Fisher Body in Pontiac. He loved to hunt, fish, and tell stories.
Billy is survived by his daughter Pam Ford-Moslander, sons Milton (Joyce) Ford, William (Shelly) Ford, and James (Michelle) Ford; step-children Mark (Brenda) LouAnn (Loren), Dee (Tony); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Norman Ford; also several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Sonia Ford; his first wife Bonnie and his second wife Amy; sisters Ollie, Esther, and Robbie; brother Levoy; step-son Charles Stover.
Friends may visit on Monday, July 31, 2023, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Phil Burkett will be officiating. Billy will be laid to rest at Arcadia Township Cemetery where he will receive military honors under the auspices of American Legion Post #16 Honor Guard.
