Ronald "Woody" Woods

Ronald "Woody" Woods, 84, of Burton, Michigan, passed away on December 3, 2025. He was born on October 6, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri to Ross Lindell Woods and Irene Woods (Patestas). Woody loyally served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a civil rights activist and dedicated to helping animals that were in need of better care. Woody was lighthearted and had a great sense of humor. He was a great friend and listener.
Woody is survived by his daughter Cheryl Lynch; grandsons Steve Bailer and Christopher Bailer; granddaughter Rachel Radcliffe; great-grandchildren Kaitlyn David and Braxden Radcliffe; friend and caregiver Kelsay Gwinn and her children.
Woody was preceded in death by his aforementioned parents and his daughter Cyndi.
Woody will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Tuesday, December 9th at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Gary Wissmueller will officiate. Arrangements entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. Memorial donations may be made to Pets In Peril - Flint, MI.
