Billy Joel Funderburg Jr

Billy J "Joe" Funderburg, 64 years old, was a life long resident of El Dorado, AR. He was born October 24, 1961 to Billy Joel Funderburg Sr. & Mary Lou Funderburg. He passed from his earthly home on November 5, 2025. He was proceeded in death by his father, Billy Joel Funderburg Sr; grandparents, James & Mable Funderburg, JD Hackworth, Clayton & Mary Guinn; his Uncle Doyle & Aunt Sallie Funderburg.

Joe was an avid baseball enthusiast, but had a love for all sports. He enjoyed watching The L.A. Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, and The Boston Red Sox with family and friends. In past times, he was an incredible Short Stop player and Umpire. He also had a passion for running Marathons & Triathlons.

He enjoyed simple pleasures like traveling with his wife, taking care of his chickens, riding his grandbabies around on the golf cart or four-wheeler and attending all of their sporting events. Most of all, he treasured sharing his precious time with his family, whose happiness was his greatest reward. Last but not least, this man loved to eat.

His greatest loves in life were his wife, Cinda, and his grandbabies, Grayson, Gavin, Gunner, Jaylin, Charlie Gail, JP, JoJo, Kadence, Aysa, and Preston.

Joe will always be remembered as a compassionate Spirit, whose warmth and kindness knew no bounds. His courage and selfless sacrifices were a testament to his incredible Spirit and unwavering love that will forever live in our hearts.

He was survived by his loving wife, Cinda Funderburg; his mother, Mary Lou Funderburg; his brother, Johnny (Cheryl) Funderburg; his children, Krystal, Kara, Billy Joel III "Trae" (Caitlin), Levi, Daniel, Lexi (Ashton); many grandbabies,;nieces; nephews, & cousins.
