Billy Gideon Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Billy Paul Gideon, 69, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Earth lost a treasure when our dear brother breathed his last, left the burdens of this life and entered into rest.
He was born September 29, 1955 to GW Doris Gideon and Wilma Jean (Tillery) Gideon and spent most of his years in the Garland and Hot Spring County area of Arkansas.
Once a man is gone there is nothing we can say that will save or condemn them, but it rests on where they stood with God when their time was up.
Brother Billy's one goal in life was to have his heart right when he stood before his maker to give an account of himself and as time went by, he became one of the meekest and mildest men one is likely to encounter in a lifetime.
He became a special part of many families and will be greatly missed by those he left until we too, one by one are called out to give account of ourselves.
Immediate blood relative survivors are his son, BJ of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sister Darlene Tritt of Chapin, South Carolina; sister Robin Herron of Donaldson, Arkansas and his brother George Gideon also of Donaldson.
A private service has been held and he is interred in Antioch Cemetery, Danville Road, in Fountain Lake, Arkansas.
