Billy Gilpin Obituary

Billy served in the U.S. Navy and retired after 25 years. He also retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a loving husband and father. He never knew a stranger. He was also an avid golfer with a unique swing.
He is survived by his three children, Barbara G. Reynolds, Billy A. Gilpin, Jr. and his wife Debra, and Brenda G. Dusanic and her husband Robert; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Gilpin, Brandon Dusanic, and Jeremy Reynolds; 4 great grandchildren, Liam Dusanic, Kellyn Dusanic, Haley Oglesby, and Bristol Reynolds.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 12:30 PM at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, North Suffolk Chapel, with burial to follow at Albert G. Horton Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 6-7:30 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans. Condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.
