William Joe “Roach” Watring, 62, of Otterville, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Golden Age Living Center in Stover, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born July 25, 1963, in Sedalia, son of Jerry Dean and Evelyn Sue (Mertgen) Watring.
Billy Joe was a 1981 graduate of Tipton High School. He worked in construction for several years and later did odd jobs to help people. He liked to tinker and was a beautiful dancer.
Surviving are his daughter, Laci Wells (Josh), of Stover; two grandchildren, Jaci and Tyce; a sister, Debra Helmig, of Otterville; a brother, Terry Watring, of Otterville; and nephews and nieces, Slim, Shawna, and Brittany.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his significant other, Carla Henderson; and his beloved dog, Eugene.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2025, at St. John Evangelical Church, 6667 Highway JJ, Florence, MO.
Memorials are suggested to the church.
Arrangements are in the care of Page-Dady Funeral Homes.
