Kyle E. Moberly, 68, of Syracuse, MO passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at his home.
He was born on October 29, 1957, in Independence, MO, a son of Loren Willard and Linda Lee (Francis) Moberly. He was a graduate of Truman High School in 1975 and was also an Eagle Scout.
Kyle was a man of faith, generosity, and adventure, whose life was defined by his love for others and his passion for the open road. He was a devoted member of Fortuna Baptist Church, where he faithfully attended and took part in the Wednesday night men’s Bible study, valuing fellowship and spiritual growth.
Kyle had a deep passion for all things motorcycles. A skilled motorcycle and auto body mechanic, he took pride in his work and found joy in bringing machines back to life. While he appreciated all brands, Harley-Davidson motorcycles held a special place in his heart. Riding was not just a hobby for Kyle—it was a way of life. He loved taking motorcycle trips as well as using his bike for everyday travel. Always one to challenge himself, Kyle once set a personal goal to ride only a motorcycle for an entire year, never driving a car. He surpassed that goal, successfully riding for 15 straight months as his primary mode of transportation.
Known for his selfless nature, Kyle was always willing to help anyone in need. He never hesitated to set aside his own projects to lend a hand, offering his time, skills, and kindness without question. His generous spirit and willingness to serve others left a lasting impact on those who knew him.
Kyle also had a love for adventure and spontaneity. He was always ready for an impromptu trip, often heading out to Milwaukee with his good friends, making memories that will be treasured forever.
Above all, Kyle will be remembered for his faith, his big heart, and the way he lived life with purpose, compassion, and freedom. He will be deeply missed by his friends, church family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Survivors include several cousins, close friends and his church family.
Kyle was preceded in death by both of his parents and one brother, Randall Wayne Moberly.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025 at the Fortuna Baptist Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Fortuna Baptist Church.
