White's Funeral Home - AzleBilly J. Johnson, 73, entered heaven on Friday evening, October 31, 2025, at his home in Azle, TX.
Graveside Service: 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Ash Creek Cemetery.
Billy was born March 14, 1952, in Comanche and was the son of Andrew & Sally Johnson of Azle. He loved rooting for the Hornets on Friday nights, playing golf with his long-time compadres, and gifting his family and friends with his home-smoked brisket. Billy worked for many years at Miller Brewing Co. and kept in friendly touch with past co-workers. In his retirement, he enjoyed being outdoors and playing with his grandchildren, who called him Papa.
Billy was preceded in death by his loving wife Jan of 54 years. He spoke regularly of his faith in Jesus and a reunion in heaven.
Billy is survived by his daughters, Keri Armentrout & Kacee Perez; seven grandchildren; his brothers: Ed, Calvin, & Robert Johnson; and many devoted family and friends.
