White's Funeral Home - AzleDavid Wayne "Willie" Williams, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, at the age of 70. He was born on February 28th, 1955, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Known for his infectious charm, Willie dedicated his life to his family and friends. He was a cabinet builder extraordinaire, known for his ability to transform a house into a home. He was also a coach, and most importantly, a Grandpa; his presence could light up any room.
Willie cherished his family and friends above all else. He is preceded in death by his wife, Becky King-Williams; father, Bobby Elmo Williams; and mother, Joy Nell Robinson-Williams.
He is survived by his kids, Christi Williams, Luke Williams (Alicia), and Kaleb Williams (Emily); grandkids, Rylan Pack, Kaden Pack, Colin Williams, Ace Pack, Emmett Williams, Lettie Williams, Harper Pack, and Alden Williams; Siblings, Dale Williams, Nancy Ruffin, and Carolyn Stom (David), Aunt Peggy Baty; and too many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends to list. His humor, guidance, wisdom, and generosity shaped the lives of those who loved him.
His childhood was spent with his brother and best friend, Dale, either fishing on Eagle Mountain Lake or playing golf at Rockwood. He was the epitome of a big brother to his siblings. In 1980, he met and married Janna Pullig and moved to Boyd, Texas, where they built a family and a home together. Willie built custom cabinets and employed multiple friends and family members. He had a passion for fellowship and coaching others in the skills he knew, including golf, fishing, music (guitar, karaoke, and attending concerts), and baseball.
A celebration of his life will be held on October 19th, from 2 PM to 6 PM, at the Covered Bridge (2250 Agnes Cir, Springtown, TX).
Willie will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in our hearts and the countless lives he touched. We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support from our friends and family during this difficult time. He thought so much of every one of you.
