Billy Gene Lamberth

We celebrate the beautiful life of Billy Gene Lamberth, a strong yet gentle family man whose days were guided by resilience, generosity, hard work, compassion, and loyalty. Born on October 4th, 1931, Billy carried those traits from his earliest steps to his final day on December 11th, 2025.

Billy loved working with his hands, taking quiet pride in every task he completed. That steady dedication shaped a life filled with purpose and dependable care for those around him. Billy was very helpful to everyone he encountered.

Family stood at the very center of his world, and he showed his love through consistent action rather than words. Each visit, shared meal, and helping hand became its own small celebration of togetherness. Brenda will tell you about the days of learning to drive at the family home and how the walls where hand built by Billy. He would find a rock and claim it as part of his new wall he would put up around the property. Larry will tell you with a smirk on his face that his dad loved racing so much. All three of the children have fond memories of going to Daytona Beach for the NASCAR races. Billy would place his handkerchief on little Cheryl's legs to prevent her from getting burn from the heat of the sun and racetrack.

Billy was preceded in passing by his parents Walker and Era Lois Lamberth, his wife Juanita Lamberth, his brothers Bobby Ray Lamberth, Sr and Malcom Lamberth, and his sisters Iva and Patricia Lamberth. Their memory remained a constant source of strength for him.

He is joyfully remembered by daughter Cheryl (Ricky) Holder, daughter Brenda (Dallas) Farmer, and son Larry (Donna) Lamberth. Billy's legacy also shines through his grandchildren Landon Holder (Carrie), Caleb Holder (Ashley), Evan Holder (Ashley), Kyla Holder Van der Voort (Hunter), Shawn Daniell (Sarah), Christopher Farmer (Amber), Cody Lamberth, Tabitha Owens, and Joshua Farmer (Rachel). His great-grandchildren Camden Holder, Griffin Holder, Harper Van der Voort, Elijah Rose, Kholie Rose, Matthew Farmer, Breanna Owens, Chase Owens, Zechariah Farmer, Chloe Farmer, Josiah Daniell, and Eleanor Farmer.

As we gather to honor Billy, we hold tight to the bright memories he gave us and the steady example he set. May every story shared remind us that a life anchored in simple love and steady kindness is truly a life well-lived.

Special gratitude is extended to his nephew, Mike Lamberth, for his care and companionship the last few years.
