It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved mother.

Ara Mae Oliver Lamberth, age 91, passed away on January 1, 2026 in Orlando, Florida . She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on May 3, 1934 to James Troy Oliver and Nettie Velma Brooks Oliver. She was the fifth of six children.

She married Lonnie Reginald Lamberth. They had four daughters, Regina, Diana, Karen and Susan. The family moved to Florida in 1961. Mae was a dedicated and loving mother and wife. She was always stepping up to help others in their times of need. She was always close to her brothers and sister and their families and helped care for her father in his later years.

Mae was a very talented hairdresser from a young age and made it her profession for many years.

Big family gatherings were always special to her and our family. Music was a big part of her life. She loved to travel, whether it be a cruise or a trip to visit relatives or a simple Sunday drive.

Everyone who came to our home was welcomed and our backyard was where all the neighbors kids came. She had so many dear and long lasting friends, “adopted daughters, nieces and nephews who loved her and brightened her days checking in on her. Her legacy is her huge heart and kindness.

She is survived by her daughters Regina and her husband Keith, Karen and Susan. Seven grandchildren Jason, John, Chris, Kelly, David, Ashley and Stephen as well as their spouses and 12 great grandchildren. God and Family were her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents Nettie and Troy, siblings Gerald, Harold, JT, Carl, Evelyn, her husband Reggie and daughter Diana.

She was laid to rest at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando, Florida, alongside her husband Reggie and daughter Diana.
