Billy LeJeune Obituary
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 24, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings, with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday July 23, 2024, beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a Cursillo Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.
He will be laid to rest in Bertrand Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
Billy was born on October 30, 1957, in Jennings, LA, to Herbie LeJeune and Lorisa Leger LeJeune. He worked as a sandblaster for many years in the oilfield. He often enjoyed listening to his music and cooking while enjoying life. He loved dancing and shooting pool. He will always hold a special place in our hearts, and he will never be forgotten.
Left to cherish his memories are his girlfriend, Pat Bertrand; daughters, Heather and Skyler LeJeune; sons, Billy LeJeune, Jr.; sisters, Barbara LeJeune, Patricia LeJeune Strout, Carolyn "Punkin" (David) Hines, Carol "Peanut" (Mike Looney) Darby, Norma "Sis" Venable, and Shirley Myers; brother, Kenneth (Betty) LeJeune; two grandchildren, Jaxon LeJeune and Kari Senegal; and a dear friend, Terry Sonnier.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, John Myers, Herbie "Crow" LeJeune, Bobby "Mule" LeJeune, and Willis "Bubba" LeJeune; and a granddaughter, Cambri Coleman.
Pallbearers will be Terry Sonnier, Robert Istre, Donnie Venable, Dawson Louviere, Lloyd Thimmisch and Danny LeJeune.
Honorary pallbearers will be BJ LeJeune and Teddy Moore.
