Billy Markham Obituary
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Sheila D. Markham and the son of Martha Jane Jones, both who survive. He was a salesman for The Building Center in Greensboro and a member of Open Bible Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include a brother, Steven Darro Markham, wife Heidi and stepson, Matthew and brother-in-law, Jimmy Dabbs.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. by Pastor Jason Simmons with the family receiving friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Alamance County, 2213 Edgewood Avenue, Burlington, NC 27215.
