Barbara Lurline Snider

Barbara Lurline Burger Snider, 88, of Burlington passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Brookdale Senior Living.

A native of Roanoke, Va., she was the loving wife of 63 years to Dewey Lee Snider, who survives and the daughter of Paul Amos Burger and Marinda Johnson Burger, both deceased.

Barbara owned and operated a bridal shop for many years. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren, where she taught Sunday School and helped with the youth. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing games with her friends and gardening.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Brian Snider and wife Robin; her daughter, Candice Walker; six grandchildren, Sophia Snider, Trent Snider, Jessica Walker, Lacie Wheeley and husband Tyler, Reese Walker, Riley Walker; and one great grandson Walker Wheeley.
